The Workforce One Investment Board of Southwest Ohio selected Gold Star Chili to receive its 2006 Investing In People Award honoring an organization's dedication to workforce development. The Board is comprised of business, education, labor and government leaders from Butler, Warren and Clermont Counties and is responsible for the vision, policy direction and performance expectations for the regional workforce development system.

Community Leadership Award from the Child Wellness Community Fund
Gold Star Chili was recognized with a Community Leadership Award from the Child Wellness Community Fund (CWF) at their annual kick-off event held on November 10, 2005. Gold Star Chili has sponsors CWF's Fire & Life Safety Camp during the annual Child Wellness Fair at Coney Island. Gold Star Chili also donated a portion of the proceeds from its Fire House 3-Way promotion during the 4th Quarter of 2005 to the to support CWF's fire safety education and prevention programs.

2004 QSR/FPI Foodservice Packaging Award
Gold Star Chili's Coney Crate was awarded the 1st Place 2004 Foodservice Packaging Award in "The Wow!!! Factor" category during a special ceremony on October 20, 2004 in Atlanta, GA. This national award was presented by QSR Magazine and the Foodservice & Packaging Institute.
2004 Ohio Restaurant Association's Restaurant Good Neighbor Award
Gold Star Chili has been selected by the Ohio Restaurant Association to represent Ohio as a finalist for the National Restaurant Association's 2004 Restaurant Good Neighbor Award. Gold Star Chili's long-standing commitment to tri-state firefighters was commended as Ohio's top restaurant-sponsored community service program.
