Fan of the Game

Mason Senior Kyle Raffel is our Gold Star Chili Fan of the Game. Embodying Comet Spirit, Kyle wore flashing green sunglasses and a Comet Basketball practice jersey. At key points in the game, he held up a big cardboard Mason Comet during the game to rally the Mason fans in support of their team.

Star of the Game

Gold Star Chili’s first High School Basketball Star of the Game is Steve Hull. A junior guard for Sycamore, Steve earned the Star of the Game award for his outstanding performance against Mason in this Greater Miami Conference opener for both teams. In the Aves 29-39 Overtime win over the Comets, Steve scored a game-high 16 points including seven in the key fourth quarter and six more in OT.
