Boyle County High School quarterback and defensive back Jordan Aumiller earned the Gold Star Chili “Star of the Game” title as his team faced Paul Dunbar High School on 11/2. Aumiller led his team to a 43 to 14 victory by throwing two touchdowns. |

Henry Clay High School senior Patrick Whalen earned the Gold Star Chili “Fan of the Game” honor. Daring the chilly weather without a shirt and painted in school colors, Whalen led the crowd in spirited cheers along with some fellow Henry Clay students. |

The Gold Star Chili “Star of the Game” title went to Henry Clay High School senior wide receiver Aaron Boyd as his team faced-up against Boone County High School. Boyd helped bring home a win with three touchdowns on 10/26. The final score was 42 to 14. |

The Gold Star Chili “Fan of the Game” title went to Madison Southern High School’s Noah Marshall. Marshall shows up to every game with a painted face and blue wig to cheer on his team. |

The Gold Star Chili “Star of the Game” Madison Southern High School quarterback Rick Jones threw a 65-yard touchdown early in the game which set his team up early for a win, but Knox Central High School came back and defeated Madison Southern 12 to 7. |

The Gold Star Chili “Fan of the Game” honors went to Tates Creek High School junior Julie Mains. Mains shows up to every football game and leads the Tates Creek High School cheering section. This week, Mains stayed positive despite her team’s disappointing loss to Scott County High School. |

Scott County High School senior Brandon Lawson earned the Gold Star Chili “Star of the Game” title as his team played Tates Creek High School. Lawson ran for two touchdowns and his pass helped the team score their third touchdown. The final score was Scott County 34 and Tates Creek 14. |

The Gold Star Chili “Fan of the Game” honors went to Lexington Catholic High School sophomore Jack Lyden as his team steam-rolled East Jessamine High School with a 48 to 0 win on their home field. Lyden was sidelined earlier in the year with a leg injury, but he can be seen cheering his team on from the bench. |

Lexington Catholic High School senior and wide receiver Tyler Colvin earned the Gold Star Chili “Star of the Game” title as his team took on East Jessamine High School. Colvin caught six passes for 127 yards and a touch down. |

Frankfort High School junior Rodney Gross was Gold Star Chili’s “Fan of the Game” on Sept. 14. Frankfort had a disappointing loss on their home turf against Franklin County High School, but Gross unwaveringly cheered on his team until the end. Covered in his school’s colors, Gross was the most spirited fan in the stands. |

The Gold Star Chili “Star of the Game” was Franklin County’s Terry Metcalf as his team went up against Frankfort High School on Sept. 14. Metcalf helped lead the team to an 11-point victory over Frankfort with 18 carries, seven passes and two touchdowns. The final score was 24 to 13. |
