STUDENTS CALL, GOLD STAR CHILI ANSWERS

Gold Star Chili to Open on UC Campus

CINCINNATI, Ohio - (April 4, 2004) - On April 19, Gold Star Chili, "The Taste That’s Taking Over," will open its first restaurant on the University of Cincinnati’s campus to satisfy Bearcat appetites.

"We are excited to become a part of student life at the University of Cincinnati," said Gold Star Chili CEO John Sullivan. "It is a great opportunity to introduce students from across the country to one of Cincinnati’s signature dishes."

Gold Star Chili is not overstating the matter by claiming that the restaurant will satisfy student cravings. In a recent campus survey, UC students ranked Cincinnati-style chili as one of their top three choices for additions to campus cuisine.

Gold Star Chili expects a warm welcome as spring approaches since students tend to grow weary of cafeteria food and pizza delivery.

"Gold Star Chili is offering Bearcats Cincinnati-style comfort food," said Sullivan.

The new 1,100 square foot restaurant will be in the Tangeman University Center located at 2766 UC Main Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45221. Hours of operation are 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Bearcat discount cards will be accepted.
