Restaurant introduction follows popular retail launch in area grocery stores

CINCINNATI, Ohio - (April 9, 2003) - One of the tristate’s favorite snacks, Chili Cheese Dip, is now available at all Gold Star Chili restaurants. Gold Star Chili is the only Cincinnati-style chili restaurant with the new dip.

Chili Cheese Dip is just the right combination of layered chili, cream cheese and mild cheddar cheese served with a basket of nacho chips. Available for dine-in or carry-out, Chili Cheese Dip is the perfect appetizer or afternoon snack for one or two people for an introductory price of $1.99. For only $1 more, Chili Cheese Dip can become Supreme with lettuce, onions, beans, tomatoes and sour cream.

Beginning Monday, April 21, 2003, Chili Cheese Dip will be a permanent menu item at more than 100 Gold Star Chili restaurants throughout the tri-state.

Gold Star Chili continues to be on the cutting edge with new chili products offered to restaurant customers. The restaurant Chili Cheese Dip follows the successful introduction of frozen Chili Cheese Dip at tri-state groceries.
