GOLD STAR CHILI ANNOUNCES YU-GI-OH TRADING NIGHTS FOR JUNE

First 50 Kids at Each Store Will Draw for a Free Yu-Gi-Oh Card

CINCINNATI, Ohio - (May 13, 2003) - Tri-State schools will break for summer in a few weeks, but the fever among tri-state youngsters for trading Yu-Gi-Oh cards will continue to rage. Every Tuesday in June, Gold Star Chili will offer children a place to indulge in two passions: Cincinnati-style chili and Yu-Gi-Oh.

"Tuesday nights are Kid’s Night at Gold Star Chili," said Lori Busse, Gold Star Chili Marketing Director. "Although we think every Tuesday is special, we like to plan special events throughout the year that make some Kid’s Nights extra special. We decided to hold Yu-Gi-Oh Trading Nights in conjunction with Kid’s Nights throughout June because school will be out for the summer soon, and many kids will be looking for opportunities to mix with other Yu-Gi-Oh enthusiasts."

What is Yu-Gi-Oh?
Yu-Gi-Oh has quickly swept the nation to become the most popular trading card game among children aged kindergarten through high school.

In Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters, two players, face off in an all-out battle, engaging in a Match consisting of three duels. It will take skill, practice, strategy and luck to emerge victorious from the match, as there are many factors players can manipulate to vanquish their foe. The main battles are waged between incredible monsters split into an amazing 20 types, each with their own unique skills and fighting styles. In addition, players can use magic, set traps, change the battlefield itself, and even fuse two monsters together to form a monster of immense power!

When Are Gold Star Chili Yu-Gi-Oh Nights?
Tuesday, June 3 / Tuesday, June 10 / Tuesday, June 17 / Tuesday, June 24
At all participating Gold Star Chili restaurants (85 throughout the tri-state; mall locations excluded).

What Is Kid’s Night?
Kid’s Night is held every Tuesday at area Gold Star Chili restaurants. Children 10 and under eat free with the adult purchase of a combo meal.

In June, Kid’s Night will feature Yu-Gi-Oh trading, one free Yu-Gi-Oh card for the first 50 children age 10 and under at each participating location, and prize drawings for Yu-Gi-Oh gift packs.
