Kids Eat Free on Tuesday Nights at Gold Star Chili

CINCINNATI, Ohio - (May 14, 2002) - Gold Star Chili Kid’s Night was launched chain-wide on May 14, 2002. Every Tuesday evening kids 10 and under who dine in will eat free from the kids menu when accompanied by an adult purchasing a combo meal.

"Families are looking for quick and convenient meal solutions and Gold Star Chili can meet these needs and offer additional value to the family with a free kids meal on Tuesday nights," stated Lori Busse, Marketing Director. "We want to be known as a family friendly restaurant and offering Kid’s Night helps us build a relationship with tri-state families," continued Busse.

At Kids Night, children under 10 will receive a free meal, a free toy surprise, and an opportunity to register to win great monthly prizes including gift certificates to Montgomery Cyclery, K*B Toys, and Media Play, passes to local attractions such as the Museum Center, The Zoo, the Beach, Mighty Ducks games, movie premieres, and fun prizes such as CD players, games, and T-shirts. Special occasion dinners with Corey Dillon, Cincinnati Bengals All Pro Running Back and coney parties with the firefighters are planned for Kids Night Winners later in the year.
