GOLD STAR CHILI GIFT CARDS FOR THE HOLIDAYS

CINCINNATI, Ohio - (November 15, 2004) - Gold Star Chili introduced its gift card program on November 15, 2004 just in time for holiday gift giving. Customers can now purchase gift card cards for any denomination between $5.00 and $50.00. They can then use the card as gifts or for making their own purchases at all participating Gold Star Chili locations. The gift cards can also be reloaded and used over and over again on future visits.

According to a recent Deloitte & Touche consumer study, gift cards will be the #1 gift choice of the 2004 holiday season. The survey found that 64 percent of consumers intend to buy gift cards, up from 60 percent in 2003.

Gift cards provide an attractive, easy-to-use option to traditional paper gift certificates providing an attractive presentation and opportunity for reuse.
