NEW COMMISSARY TO DOUBLE GOLD STAR CHILI'S CHILI-MAKING CAPACITY

CINCINNATI, Ohio - (November 24, 2004) - Gold Star Chili will officially open a new commissary on Thursday, December 9, 2004, doubling company’s chili-making capabilities. When open, Gold Star Chili will be able to produce up to 7.5 tons of chili per day to distribute to its restaurants in the tri-state.

"Gold Star Chili now has more than 100 restaurants in the tri-state area," said John Sullivan, Gold Star Chili’s President and CEO. "We simply outgrew the old location in Mt. Washington, which was built in 1965."

The new location will serve Gold Star Chili’s needs for the foreseeable future and accommodate future expansion, Sullivan said.

The new state-of-the-art facility will be housed in the same location as the corporate offices, at 650 Lunken Park Drive in Linville near Lunken Airport. The commissary will be staffed by 10 employees working five days a week to produce the chili.

To memorialize the event, Gold Star Chili will hold a nautical-style dedication ceremony complete with a champagne toast from 2-3 on December 9, 2004. Guests at the ceremony will also receive a tour of the facility, enjoy Gold Star Chili and participate in chili-related activities.
