New Bootsy Collins Release “Who Dey Invasion” Available At Gold Star Chili Locations Starting November 13
Cincinnati, OH – November 7, 2006 – The latest “Bengal-themed” music project by Cincinnati’s own Bootsy Collins will be released Monday, November 13, and will be available at Gold Star Chili locations throughout Greater Cincinnati. “Who Dey Invasion, with the new Bengal theme song “Who Dey Hype,” will be available exclusively at Gold Star Chili restaurants through November 19, 2006.
After November 19, the CD will be available at Gold Star Chili, as well as other local retail locations, through the end of December or while supplies last. The CDs are priced at $9.99 each, and they contain 6 original Bengal-themed songs by Bootsy Collins, as well as “Battle Cries” and “Bengal Bites.”
Last year’s CD, "Fear da Tiger," was a wild success and in responding to consumer demand for more “Bengals music,” Bootzilla Productions felt it necessary to produce the same edge and creativity that was put into last year’s work in creating this year’s "Who Dey Invasion."
"We want to unify Cincinnati residents and empower them to support and pay tribute to our wonderful city," Collins explains. "People get excited about the Bengals and what better way to celebrate that excitement than to create a theme song.”
Gold Star Chili is the “official chili of the Cincinnati Bengals and is sold at Paul Brown Stadium during Bengal home games. “Gold Star Chili was a logical choice in selecting a retailer based on their relationship with Bengals, their multiple locations throughout the city, as well as their like minded commitment to community involvement," Collins adds.
Bootsy Collins will be making appearances and signing autographs at Gold Star locations the week of November 13-19. For more information go to www.goldstarchili.com.
